Training Center

CENTURION SECURITY TRAINING ACADEMY, INC. (CSTAI) was established in 1988 to promote and achieve lasting improvements in the quality of Centurion Security Agency’s security services through training and continuing security education of its security officers and guards. It also seeks to provide quality security education and security training programs to elevate the standards of the security profession.  

Centurion Security Training Academy is a PNP-SOSIA and TESDA accredited training school. It was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission on March 13, 2002 with SEC Registration No. C200200293.

Centurion Training Academy, Inc. is accredited to conduct the following courses:

  • Pre-licensing Training Course (NC-1)
  • In-Service/Re-training Course (NC-2)
  • In-Service Enhancement Security Training
  • Security Officers Seminar/Guard Supervisory Seminar (SO)
  • Port Facility Security Officers (PFSO) Course
  • Security Awareness Training for Port Facility Personnel with Security Duties
  • Security Awareness Training for Port Facility Personnel without Security Duties.

It also provides in-house training seminars including Private Investigation Seminar, Erring Guards Seminar (a mentoring/counseling program for Centurion guards who have committed minor or major offenses) and Combat Aikido to enhance the physical fitness and proficiency of security officers and guards in hand to hand combat.

Centurion Training Academy integrated the Combat Aikido in its program of instruction when Centurion’s Combat Aikido Club was organized on March 14, 1993 with chief instructor Sensei Jack C. Rosal.

AWARDS/COMMENDATIONS:

  • In October 2, 2000, Centurion Security Training Academy, Inc. was adjudged as ONE of the OUTSTANDING PRIVATE SECURITY TRAINING CENTERS/SCHOOLS by the PNP-CSG in an awarding ceremony held in Camp Crame on the occasion of the 20th Anniversary Celebration of The Civil Security Group.
  • Certificate from TESDA VII-Cebu Provincial Office for exemplary support in hosting the TRAINING METHODOLOGY 7 ASSESSORS’ METHODOLOGY COURSE on January 12-20, 2009.
  • Special Recognition and Silver Award from the Department of Health Center for Health Development-Central Visayas National Voluntary Blood Services Program for the years 2011 and 2013 for exemplary achievement in the conduct of institution/agency-based Blood Donation.
  • In 2011, the Cebu Bankers Club (CBC) through the CBC Security Committee and the Cebu Bankers Security Providers Management Team (CBSPMT) chose CENTURION SECURITY TRAINING ACADEMY, INC. as their recognized partner training school to conduct COMPREHENSIVE BANK AND ARMORED SECURITY TRAINING for CBC member banks.
  • Two Comprehensive Bank and Armored Security Training Courses have been   conducted by Centurion Security Training Academy in partnership with the Cebu Bankers Club, one in August 2012 and another in September 2013.
  • Centurion Security Training Academy, Inc. is a partner-training school of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Region 7 and NIR for security services training of DSWD Pantawid Program (4P’s) beneficiaries.

Centurion Security Training Academy is staffed by PNP-SOSIA accredited instructors. Centurion Security Training Academy is a member of PARSTS.
